A nice surprise to have been named one of the nine “Craft Breweries Worth Travelling For” by Newsweek.
We’ve been working hard to be a tourist destination out in the Chilean countryside, cultivating our non-smoking beer garden*, choosing interesting music and constantly upgrading our rural/urban style.
Our pizzas are Italian-inspired, but made our own way at 500• C (932• F) - of course we do a nice basic Margherita, but also Guanaco, Rabbit (Bad Bunny), Ostrich, Lamb, Blood Sausage, several vegetarian, and can even do vegan.
Our brewpub features 12-14 varieties of draught beer, including several IPAs, barrel aged, barley wines, etc.
Please come visit us - we open only Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00-10:30 pm.
We are located between Talagante and Malloco on “Camino a Melipilla”, about 1 km before our neighbors the Undurraga Winery. (Lots of folks go do the Undurraga tour/tasting then come to SZOT for lunch). From Santiago you head out toward the coast on Autopista del Sol (78) getting off at the Malloco/Peñaflor/Calera de Tango toll/exit (Currently CLP 700, about USD 1).
Waze and Googlemaps know where we are. Just input “Szot”, without address information, and you’ll be led directly to our gate. (If you put our legal address, the map programs will take you somewhere else... the street numbering is a mess in this area - but easy with Waze!)
We do corporate events (pizza-making teambuilding), receive groups of tourists on other days if coordinated beforehand (minimum 15 people to open - contact us for a quote),Board of Director meetings, customer marketing events, etc.
*we have a separate area where you can grab a puff if needed
